We really don’t need much to create Art 🎨🖌️
Sometimes, finding a hobby so to create, makes us believe that we need a lot of money. But the truth is, only time in our difficult daily schedule is what we need. Having time, inspiration and few things for starts, we can create wonderful Art that will stay in years.
All I needed in my beginning was canvases, cotton or linen, you could decide what fits for you the most. I always preferred stretched canva.
Base primer. For me, priming makes it easier for the canvas to grip paint, keep the pigments bright and stay rigid and usable as it gets wet. If not using it, the canvas would absorb too much paint, have dull patches, or sag too easily.
Few brushes. Depending the materials we use, Acrylic or Oil painting materials, we use specific hair brushes. Just 5 numbers as starts is great. I’ll go in depth soon on a video, how to create wonderful Art Acrylic Paintings with few house objects also! 🥰
Few colours. For me, red, black, white, yellow and blue acrylic colours and with specific mixtures that we can build all colours through them, we can do miracles. I’ll go in depth details on a video too, soon! 🥰
And, finish layer. Matt or glossy finish so to seal Acrylic Paintings. I usually use Acrylic Resin Varnishes which are stronger and clearer than Acrylic polymer varnishes. Before applying the final varnish, you’ll need to apply an isolation coat first over the entire Painting, so to protect it and last in years also.
While time passes and create more and more, you’ll see you’ll need more and more things so to use and test what fits with your technics the best way possible.
The above few things for starts can do your job wonderful. And, it’s only the beginning while going deep in creativity 🎨🖌️
